The London Wetlands Centre is located on the site of four old Victorian reservoirs adjacent to the Thames, across the river from Fulham.  It is managed by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.  It occupies over 100 acres of land, and was first opened in 2000.  The BBC called it one of the seven natural wonders of London.  There are lakes, pools and gardens that are home to birds, newts, frogs and otters.  Over 200 species of birds have been spotted here.  Flat paths navigate around the centre, with benches and hides scattered throughout.  There is a Visitor Centre, shop, gallery and cafe.  Guided tours are available at 11am and 2pm (included with admission), and feedings take place at 3pm.   The centre is open from 9:30am to 6pm.  Admission fees apply (concessions/discounts available).  See their website for more info:  http://www.wwt.org.uk/visit-us/london/visitor-information/
