The Albion pub in Islington takes you back to a time when this area was rural farmland.  A Georgian gem of a pub once visited by Londoners who left the city to go to the country.  Located with the Barnsbury conservation area, this pub offers a walled garden, restaurant and bar.  The restaurant is popular and has won several accolades.  Booking is available via their web site and is recommended.

The building is covered in wisteria and the interior has a traditional English feel. The Albion also offers the ability to book for larger events.  Awards include: The Observer Food Monthly award for “Best Sunday Lunch 2009”, The Independent’s “Top 50 Sunday Lunch Venues” and The Guardian’s “Best Pubs in the UK”.
